This has been a season of Testing and Trials for every human being but especially for God's people. The saying goes; Someone is in a storm,  Getting ready to go into a storm , or Coming through a storm . Being saved does not exempt the children of God from going through, in fact God is often the one who'll send the storms that we go through or allow the enemy to attack us.

I believe this is God's way of seeing if we mean what we say, when we say, we have faith in him and trust him. God's love for us is not fickle as our love towards him and others. God loves us in our faithfulness to him and out of faithlessness in him.

 God said "Fear not for I am with you" and that is his promise. He is with  us even when we feel like throwing in the towel. He gives us hope to push to another day and another promise. Don't give up on God because he will never give up on you.

FANTASIA TO PLAY MAHALIA JACKSON

Since her debut and win on American Idol a few years ago, no one in their right mind would dare say Fantasia Barrino is not talented. Along with platinum selling albums, she has appeared and stared on Broadway, a lifetime movie about her life, a reality show starring herself and her family and now she is getting ready for her first feature film lead role as one of the greatest women in gospel history. Fantasia will  gain 30-45lbs too portray the great Mahalia Jackson.

According to the Hollywood Press:

The Season 3 winner is slated to appear in a feature-film adaptation of the 1993 book Got to Tell It: Mahalia Jackson, Queen of Gospel, which recounts the life of the late American gospel singer, a civil rights activist who was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The CAA-repped Barrino, whose biggest post-Idol gig to date was playing Celie in the Broadway version of The Color Purple, will portray Jackson on her journey from abject poverty in New Orleans to her rise as a global figure in gospel and early supporter of Martin Luther King, Jr. The singer died in 1972 at the age of 60.

The film will be directed by Euzhan Palcy (A Dry White Season) from a script by Jim Evering, and goes into production April in Pittsburgh and Chicago for a December release.

     I am a huge Jennifer Hudson fan and I can't wait for the release of her new project. I'm sure it'll be a legend like her first one. I'm so proud of her because she didn't let her family tragedy which happened in 2009 hold her back but she allowed it to push her. She's engaged and has an upcoming wedding this year, has a beautiful baby boy and have slimmed down to a very svelte frame.

SHE LOOKS FABULOUS. Her new album titled "i remember me"  will be released on March 22nd. This Thursday she'll appear on the Oprah show to debut her new single "Where You At" and this sunday you can catch her on the grammy's paying tribute to The Queen Of Soul Ms. Aretha Franklin

No matter where you are at this point in your life, No matter how many times you may have messed up, God will give you another chance. As a matter of fact he gives us more chances than we can count. To all of you out there who's thinking you've missed your chance, you haven't. As long as you have breath you'll always have a chance to start again. This is God's way of loving us to him and if you don't know God for yourself today, now is a great time to get to know him. It's the best decision you'll ever make.

Even the strongest christian has days when their spirits are running on empty. Bishop T.D. Jakes is at it again by producing the star-studded film “Jumping The Broom, due in theaters on Mother's Day. This film is sure to fall in line with his other fabulous productions. The storyline is described as: "Two different African American families who travel to Martha's Vineyard for a weekend wedding and issues ensues between the families".

The cast of " Jumping The Broom" includes Julie Bowen from “Modern Family,” Paula Patton, Meagan Good, Laz Alonso, Pooch Hall, Angela Bassett , Mike Epps, Gary Dourdan, Loretta Devine, Tasha Smith, Lil’ Romeo, DeRay Davis, Valarie Pettiford, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Bishop T.D. Up to ten finalist will have the opportunity to join Avon voices celebrities as they sing and record the Avon Voices Anthem, which is written by Grammy Award winning songwriter Diane Warren. The Avon Foundation for women Global Campaign to end violence against Women and Girls, will benefit from the Anthem when proceeds are donated to the foundation.

We've made it through to another year and all the glory goes to GOD. 2010 is now history and every good or bad thing that may have transpired in your life last year; should now be a lesson learned. We can't turn back the hands of time and we should'nt want to. Let go of the old and embrace everything new God is bringing your way. 

Are there dreams that were put on the back burner because life became to busy for you? Take some time and revisit those dreams and put into action, a plan to make those dreams a reality. Seek God and allow him to guide your every step this year. God has a purpose and a plan for your life and only you can do what he has designed for you.

Make it a point to ignore all distractions as they are implanted by the ememy to throw you off course. keep being obedient and watch God elevate you to higher levels in him. This is your year,hour,minute,second and time. This is your oppourtunity to become the best you, you were created to be. There is a winner in you and it's time to let your light shine.The blessing is on you and it's God's promise to you.
